Abstract

Bakalářská práce se skládá z části praktické a teoretické. První část tvoří český překlad jedné kapitoly z publikace L'intelligence des oiseaux, v níž autor populárně-naučnou formou pojednává o různých typech ptačího chování, z nichž lze vypozorovat, že ptáci jsou značně inteligentní. Druhá část obsahuje nejprve překladatelskou analýzu výchozího textu a následně na konkrétních příkladech komentuje problémy, které se při překladu vyskytly, užité překladatelské postupy a typy posunů, ke kterým při překladu došlo. The bachelor's thesis consists of two parts - one practical and one theoretical. The first part is a Czech translation of a chapter from the book L'intelligence des oiseaux, in which the author discusses various types of bird behaviour that suggest that birds are highly intelligent. The second part provides a translation analysis of the chosen text and then, using specific examples, comments the translation stategies used, problems and types of shifts that occured during the proces.
