Žák s CVI - využití subtestů NEPSY-II ve speciálně pedagogické praxi: oblast senzomotoriky

Abstract

The field of cortical visual impairment is a complicated one. The diagnostic process itself is quite difficult and the amount of diagnostic materials is limited. In the Czech Republic in particular, there is currently no complex diagnostic material. Therefore, this thesis deals with the possibilities of using selected subtests of the NEPSY-II test battery in the diagnostic process of pupils with cortical visual impairments. The aim of the thesis was to verify whether these subtests can be used to identify sensomotor difficulties and whether the results can serve as a baseline for the support planning. The research investigation was conducted in the form of a quantitative research, the design chosen was a quasi-experiment. At the same time, the research was complemented by qualitative observation, which provided key information for the interpretation of performance. The research sample consisted of an experimental group of students with CVI and a comparison group of intact students. The testing included four subtests of the NEPSY-II sensorimotor domain: Fingertip Tapping, Manual Motor Sequences, Visuomotor Precision and Imitating Hand Position. Problematika centrálních poruch zraku je komplikovanou oblastí. Samotná diagnostika je poměrně složitá a množství diagnostických materiálů je prozatím omezené. Konkrétně v České republice ucelený diagnostický materiál momentálně není. Tato diplomová práce se proto zabývá možnostmi využití vybraných subtestů testové baterie NEPSY-II při diagnostice žáků s centrálními poruchami zraku. Cílem práce bylo ověřit, zda lze pomocí těchto subtestů identifikovat senzomotorické obtíže a zda mohou výsledky sloužit jako podklad pro návrh podpory. Výzkumné šetření bylo realizováno formou kvantitativního výzkumu, designem byl zvolen kvaziexperiment. Zároveň bylo šetření doplněno kvalitativním pozorováním, které poskytlo klíčové informace pro interpretaci výkonu. Výzkumný vzorek tvořila experimentální skupina žáků s CVI a komparační skupina intaktních žáků. Testování zahrnovalo čtyři subtesty senzomotorické oblasti NEPSY-II: Klepání špičkami prstů, Vizuomotorická přesnost, Manuální pohybové sekvence a Imitace pozice rukou. Výsledky ukázaly, že žáci s CVI dosahovali nižší výkonnosti ve všech sledovaných subtestech než žáci v komparační skupině.
