Role rodinných farem pro krajinu a společnost v Česku

Abstract

The dissertation thesis deals with the phenomenon of family farms in current Czechia. The main goal of this dissertation thesis is to define the role of family farms in the landscape and society of Czechia. The thesis is focused on these aspects of the role of family farms in the landscape and society of Czechia: the overall position of family and non-family farms in Czechia in the European context, family farms and their contribution to rural development and family farms and their influence on support of non-production functions of agriculture. In the beginning, the terms family farm, non-family farm, agricultural enterprise, and landscape are defined. In the thesis these concepts are used: productivism and post-productivism, multifunctional agriculture, the concept of farmer's decisions, and concepts of rural development. In the case of all concepts, how these concepts are related to the phenomenon of family farms is described. The research itself is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative data, whereas the analysis of qualitative data is the most important. The use of quantitative data has a form of basic analysis of statistical data about farmland, farms, and farmers in Czechia and the EU. Disertace se zabývá fenoménem rodinných farem v současném Česku. Hlavní cíl této disertační práce je určit roli rodinných farem pro krajinu a společnost Česka. Práce je zaměřena na tyto aspekty role rodinných farem pro krajinu a společnost Česka: celková pozice rodinných a nerodinných farem v Česku v celoevropském kontextu, rodinné farmy a jejich zapojení do rozvoje venkova a rodinné farmy a jejich vliv na podporu neprodukčních funkcí zemědělství. V úvodní části práce jsou nejprve provedeny definice pojmů rodinná, nerodinná farma, zemědělský podnik a krajina. Práce se opírá o tyto koncepty: produktivismus a post- produktivismus, multifunkční zemědělství, koncept rozhodování zemědělců a koncepty rozvoje venkova. U všech konceptů je blíže popsáno, jak dané koncepty souvisí s fenoménem rodinných farem Samotný výzkum je postaven na kombinaci kvalitativních a kvantitativních dat, přičemž analýza kvalitativních dat je stěžejní. Využití kvantitativních dat má podobu základní analýzy statistických dat o zemědělské půdě a o farmách v Česku a EU. Kvalitativní metody mají podobu polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zemědělci z rodinných a nerodinných farem ve třech modelových území Česka (okresy Mělník, Havlíčkův Brod a Český Krumlov).
