Konkurence konjunktivu a indikativu v současné italštině a francouzštině z hlediska funkčních stylů

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the competition between the subjunctive and the indicative mood in contemporary Italian and French. When comparing the two languages, the use of the subjunctive tends to decline to varying degrees and in various contexts. Thus, the objective of this paper is to contribute to the delineation of the usage of these moods, particularly in the context of subject clauses. Firstly, in the theoretical part of this paper, we characterize the following terms: the verbal mood, the indicative and the subjunctive. Most attention is dedicated to the subjunctive, as we describe it from a morphological, syntactical and semantic perspective. We then proceed to characterize the subject clause from the viewpoint of its form, and we also analyze the verbal tenses and moods that can appear in the clause. The theoretical part is followed by a practical one, in which we examine how much the subjunctive fluctuates in subject clauses by means of a contrastive corpus analysis. A crucial aspect of the research paper is its focus on the language register of the analyzed texts; particular emphasis is hence placed on functional styles.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá konkurencí konjunktivu a indikativu v současné italštině a francouzštině. Ke kolísání konjunktivu ve prospěch indikativu dochází mezi těmito dvěma jazyky v různé míře a v různých kontextech. Cílem práce je tedy přispět k popisu užívání těchto slovesných způsobů, konkrétně v kontextu podmětných vět. V teoretické části nejprve charakterizujeme následující pojmy: slovesný způsob, indikativ a konjunktiv. Tomu věnujeme nejvíce pozornosti a popisujeme jej z hlediska morfologického, syntaktického a sémantického skrze perspektivu vybraných italských a francouzských gramatik. Dále se zaměřujeme na podmětné věty, jež definujeme z formální stránky, a rozebíráme, jaké slovesné časy a způsoby v nich mohou vystupovat. Následuje praktická část, v níž ověřujeme míru kolísání konjunktivu v podmětných větách pomocí kontrastivní korpusové analýzy. Důležitým aspektem výzkumu je zohlednění jazykového rejstříku analyzovaných textů, velký důraz je proto kladen na funkční styly.
