Úskalí péče o dítě se sluchovým postižením v rodině slyšících

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá úskalími, kterými si prochází slyšící pečující osoby, kterým se narodí dítě se sluchovým postižením. Cílem práce je popsat druhy úskalí a potíží, se kterými se tyto rodiny setkávají. V teoretické části se věnuji definování sluchového postižení, popisuji jeho druhy, diagnostiku a možnosti jeho kompenzace, také se zabývám významem sluchu pro člověka. Popisuji i vývoj jedince od 6 let věku se zaměřením na sluchovou problematiku a dopad sluchového postižení na vývoj člověka. Také v teoretické části definuji pojem rodina a její význam ve výchově jedince. V poslední kapitole čtenáře seznamuji s multidisciplinárním systémem služeb pro jedince se sluchovým postižením. V praktické části pracuji s metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, kde zjišťuji, s čím se rodiny dítěte se sluchovým postižením setkávají v rámci jeho výchovy a vzdělávání. V závěru práce popisuji naplnění cíle, kde z výzkumného šetření vyplývá, že rodiče velkou část informací získávají díky sociálním službám. Informace od lékařů účastnice hodnotily také jako dobrý zdroj informací, někdy se však setkávaly se zastaralým přístupem a stereotypy. This thesis explores the challenges faced by hearing caregivers who have a child with a hearing impairment. The purpose of the thesis is to describe the types of pitfalls and difficulties that these families encounter. In the theoretical part, I define hearing impairment, describe its types, diagnosis and the possibilities of its compensation, I also discuss the importance of hearing for human beings. I also describe the development of the individual from the age of 6 years with a focus on hearing issues and the impact of hearing impairment on human development. Also in the theoretical part I define the concept of family and its importance in the education of an individual. And in the last chapter I introduce the reader to the multidisciplinary system of services for individuals with hearing impairment. In the practical part, I work with the method of semi-structured interview to find out what families of a child with hearing impairment encounter in their child's upbringing and education. In the conclusion of the thesis I describe the fulfilment of the aim, where the research shows that parents get much of their information through social services.
