Die Vermittlung von idiomatischen Wendungen im Fremdsprachenunterricht: Eine Untersuchung ausgewählter DaF-Lehrwerke

Abstract

Tato práce analyzuje implementaci idiomů ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka v kontextu frazeodidaktiky. Cílem je analyzovat současný stav výuky idiomů v učebnicích pro jazykové úrovně A1 až B2 (SERR). Teoretická část vymezuje ústřední rysy frazeologie, zejména idiomatičnost, a upozorňuje na problémy při výuce idiomatiky. Dále je analyzován Společný evropský referenční rámec s ohledem na frazeologii. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu devíti učebnic. Nalezené idiomy jsou rozděleny do pěti kategorií podle prezentace a didaktického zpracování. Analýza ukazuje, že počet a složitost idiomatických frazémů se zvyšuje s rostoucí jazykovou úrovní, ale stylistická oblast užití není zohledněna. Práce je přínosem pro frazeodidaktiku, neboť zdůrazňuje význam idiomů pro úspěšné osvojení jazyka a přiblížení se kultuře cílového jazyka, zároveň poskytuje vyučujícím vodítka pro cílené používání idiomů ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka. This thesis examines the implementation of idiomatic expressions in teaching German as a Foreign Language (GFL) regarding phrase didactics. The aim is to analyse the current state of teaching idiomatic expressions in language textbooks covering levels ranging from A1 to B2 (CEFR). The theoretical part defines the core features of phraseology, with a particular focus on idiomaticity, and points out the challenges associated with teaching idiomatic expressions. Furthermore, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is evaluated regarding the integration of phraseology. The practical part involves an analysis of nine textbooks, categorizing the identified idiomatic expressions into five groups based on their presentation and didactic application. The results reveal that the quantity and complexity of idiomatic expressions increase with higher language levels, yet the context of stylistic usage of these expressions is not indicated. This study contributes to phrase didactics by highlighting the role of idiomatic expressions in effective language adoption and cultural integration into the target language. Additionally, it offers a guidance to educators on the purposeful integration of idiomatic expressions into their teaching practice. Keywords: phraseology, phraseodidactics,...
