Percepce hudby a její funkce v procesu učení

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se teoreticky věnuje hudební percepci a vlivu hudby na psychické aspekty lidské osobnosti s důrazem na kognici a schopnost učení se. Empiricky zkoumá vliv poslechu preferované hudby během četby odborného textu na schopnost retence a rekognice informací, a to jak kvalitativně z pohledu studentů Univerzity Karlovy, tak experimentálně, s cílem přispět k aktuálnímu výzkumu v této oblasti, jehož výsledky jsou zatím velmi nekonzistentní. Celkem 392 studentů Univerzity Karlovy se zúčastnilo dotazníkového šetření, ve kterém uváděli subjektivně vnímané benefity a negativa poslechu hudby během čtení a učení. Experimentální studie s vnitrosubjektovým designem se zúčastnilo celkem 32 studentů té samé univerzity. V této studii participanti četli odborně znějící texty vytvořené za pomoci umělé inteligence, přičemž jeden text četli v tichosti a k druhému textu poslouchali vlastní preferovanou hudbu. Schopnost retence a rekognice informací z každého textu byla měřena testem se sedmi otázkami s výběrem odpovědí. Na začátku experimentu byla též administrována úloha měřící kapacitu pracovní paměti. The theoretical focus of this bachelor's thesis is the perception of music and the effects of music on different psychological aspects of human personality, accenting the effects on cognition and learning. The empirical part examines the effect of listening to preferred background music while reading scientific text on the ability of information retention and recognition. This thesis combines qualitative perspective on subjective beliefs of Charles University students with experimental approach, aiming to contribute to the contemporary research in this field, in which the results are very inconsistent. In total 392 Charles University students participated in the survey study in which they stated subjectively perceived benefits and negatives of listening to background music while reading and learning. 32 students from the same university participated in the within-subject experimental study. Here, the participants read scientific-like texts, which were created using artificial intelligence. The participants always read one text in silence and the other text while listening to their preferred background music.
