Problematika mentorství v navazujícím magisterském studiu Intenzivní péče

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mentorství v navazujícím oboru Intenzivní péče. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké představy mají mentorky odborné praxe v oboru Intenzivní péče o plnění své role, proč oslovené sestry roli mentorky zastávají. Co a jak ovlivňuje jejich přístup v mentorství. Jak by bylo možné zefektivnit přístup k sestrám mentorkám a tím ovlivnit budoucí podobu odborné praxe. Aby bylo možné proniknout do zkoumané problematiky, byl výzkum prováděn formou kvalitativního výzkumu. Ke sběru dat byly použity polostrukturované rozhovory s osmi sestrami, které působí jako mentorky odborné praxe v oboru Intenzivní péče a pracují na Klinice anesteziologie a resuscitace ve Fakultní nemocnici Královské Vinohrady s různou délkou praxe a stupněm vzdělání. Pro interpretaci dat byla použita interpretativní fenomenologická analýza. Na základě provedeného výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že oslovené mentorky svojí roli vykonávají zodpovědně, ale chybí jim motivace k sebevzdělávání v oblasti mentoringu. Jejich snahou je dovést svěřené studenty k závěrečné praktické zkoušce vybavené co největším množstvím praktických dovedností, ale nepociťují dostatek podpory ze strany zaměstnavatele ani vedení fakulty. The thesis deals with the issue of mentoring in the field of Intensive Care. The aim of the thesis was to find out what ideas professional practice mentors in Intensive Care have about fulfilling their role and why the interviewed nurses have the role of mentor. What and how influences their approach in mentoring. How the approach to nurse mentors could be streamlined to influence the future shape of professional practice. In order to gain insight into the issues under investigation, the research was conducted in the form of qualitative research. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data with eight nurses who act as professional practice mentors in the field of intensive care and work in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady with different lengths of experience and level of education. Interpretative phenomenological analysis was used to interpret the data. On the basis of the conducted research it was found that the interviewed mentors perform their role responsibly, but they lack motivation for self-education in the field of mentoring.
