| uk.abstract.en | The Austro Prussian War of 1866 is considered to be a historic and political turning point in European history and has therefore been intensively and variously reflected in the literature. Since the most important and decisive events in the context of this war took place in the Central European (cultural) region, it makes sense to analyse the immediate reactions to the war in the memoirs from Bohemia and Moravia (Beda Franz Dudík, Edu ard Deutsch, Emanuel Salomon von Friedberg Mírohorský, Josef Simon). The following article deals the question of how the Austro Prussian War of 1866 was reflected in the memoirs from Bohemia and Moravia. Similarly, it aims to discover to what extent these works were responsible for typical interpretive patterns that later became dominant for the (culture specific) interpretation of the war. | cs |
