It is clear that time geography has the potential to help us better understand the spatial-temporal behaviour of individuals. However, the great expansion of information and communication technologies in the recent period has dramatically changed human life and has brought new ideas to this discipline. Some time-geographic concepts which have formed the backbone of time-space research until now need to be modified and extended to accomodate the changing nature and characteristics of human activities and interactions in a hybrid physical.virtual space. The paper addresses the latest trends in time geography and outlines the challenges and problems facing this area of research. It examines how information and communication technologies have contributed to currently changing concepts of classical time geography and brought new impulses in approaches and methods necessary to capture, analyse and represent a variety of activities of individuals in the complexity of social and spatial interactions.sk
