Abstract

Eva Samková: Španělsko Karla V. pohledem španělské a zahraniční historiografie bakalářské práce Abstract Bachelor thesis "Spain of Charles V in the vision of the Spanish and foreign historiography" focuses on the person and government of Emperor Charles V in Spain in the years 1516- 1556. The aim of the thesis is to compare texts, ideas and theories in the works of historians engaged in European history of the 16th century and the person of the Emperor Charles V. Specifically, the works of the Spanish historian M. F. Álvarez (Biografia de una nacion. Madrid 2010), German historians K. Brandi (Emperor Charles V. The growth and destiny of a man and of a world-empire. London 1968) and F. Seibt (Charles V. Emperor and the Reformation. Prague 1999), Austrian historian F. Heer (European spiritual history. Prague 2000) and international collection of essays, whose editor is H. Soly (Charles V. 1500-1558 and his time. Antverps) 1999). First is introduction to the life and personality of Charles V in the brief biography and a further follow excerpts from each studied books, supplemented by quotations from the original text. Finally, the actual comparison of the aforementioned literature.

Cílem práce je porovnání textů, myšlenek a teorií v dílech historiků zabývajících evropskou historií 16. století a osobou císaře Karla V. Konkrétně děl španělského historika M. F. Álvareze (Biografia de una nacion. Madrid 2010), německých historiků K. Brandiho (Emperor Charles V. The growth and destiny of a man and of a world-empire. London 1968) a F. Seibta (Karel V. Císař a reformace. Praha 1999), rakouského historika F. Heera (Evropské duchovní dějiny. Praha 2000) a mezinárodního sborníku esejí, jehož editorem je H. Soly (Charles V. 1500- 1558 and his time. Antverpy 1999). Nejprve je představen život a osobnost Karla V. ve stručném životopise a jako další následují výtahy z jednotlivých sledovaných knih, doplněných citacemi přímo z originálního textu. Závěrem je samotné porovnání již zmíněné literatury.
