The church is viewed as a valuable monuments of the past but also the present. First, the attention is directed to the more general information about stained glass, a brief history of the use of window panes in architecture, as well as its importance in different historical periods. It looks at also the Art Nouveau architecture in Bohemia, in the context of the time and situation of the Catholic Church. The aim is the studies of the three Art Nouveau churches, focusing on local painting on glass. Since their formation till today. The attention is also focused on the artistic illustration of the same themes stained glass in other sacral and secular buildings. The study is conducted on the basis of historical materials, parish chronicles, memorial books, building plans, building historical research and literature.
