Bratrská jednota baptistů v Praze před a po roce 1989 očima jejích členů

Abstract

Práce je zaměřena na historii Bratrské jednoty baptistů v Praze s důrazem na období normalizace, přelomový rok 1989 a změny, které tento rok přinesl. Klíčovými body výzkumu jsou vztahy Bratrské jednoty baptistů a státu a srovnání pohledu kazatelů a "řadových" členů. Metodologie práce (viz 2. kapitola) se opírá o archivní záznamy a především pak o rozhovory vycházející z metody orální historie. Narátoři byli vybíráni tak, aby jejich výběr byl co nejreprezentativnější z hlediska funkce ve sboru, vzdělání, generace, genderu a příslušnosti ke sboru. Třetí kapitola nabízí přehled zásadních důrazů baptistické tradice v českých zemích, dále pojednává o historii baptistů v českých zemích a v Praze. Čtvrtá kapitola obsahuje analýzy rozhovorů a archivních pramenů. Podkapitoly jsou řazeny časově. V každé podkapitole jsou rozebrána zásadní témata vztahující se k danému období, na konci každé kapitoly jsou srovnány materiály z hlediska přínosnosti k tématu. V analytické části je rovněž zařazena podkapitola zabývající se bilancí období před a po roce 1989 z hlediska nejdůležitějších témat, která z výzkumu vyplynula. V závěru kapitoly je uvedena obsahová analýza časopisu Rozsévač z let 1989 a 1990.

The work focuses on the history of the Baptist Union in Prague with an emphasis on the breakthrough of 1989 and the changes that have been brought by this year. The key points of the research are relations of the Baptist Union and the state, and a comparison of the view of preachers and "ordinary" members. The methodology of the work (see charter 2) is based on archival records and especially on the interviews based on the oral history method. Narrators were selected so that their choice was as representative as possible according to the function in the church, education, generation, gender and membership in a local church (congregation). Third chapter provides an overview of fundamental emphases of the Baptist tradition in Czech lands, it refers to the history of Baptists in the Czech Republic and in Prague. Fourth chapter contains an analysis of the interviews and archival sources. Subchapters are ordered according to time periods. Each subchapter discusses key issues relating to the period, sources are compared to each other based on their relevance to the topic at the end of each chapter. The analytical part also contains a subchapter dealing with the evaluation of the period before and after 1989 in terms of the most important themes that emerged from the research.
