Tradiční korejský tanec v kontextu historických a společenských proměn: od 20. století po současnost

Abstract

This thesis examines the development of traditional Korean dance from the 20th century to the present. Its aim is to analyze how certain historical and social changes influenced the form, function, and perception of traditional dance throughout different periods. Key events include the beginning of modernization, Japanese colonization, and the division of Korea, followed by efforts to rediscover and revitalize national identity. The evolution of traditional dance has also been shaped by the influence of foreign dance techniques, and the emergence of new concepts and interpretative approaches. The thesis includes an analysis, the aim of which is to explore current forms of traditional dance and compare different interpretations and ways of approach.

Tato práce se zabývá vývojem tradičního korejského tance od 20. století po současnost. Cílem práce je zkoumat, jak historické a společenské proměny ovlivnily formu, funkci a vnímání tradičního tance v jednotlivých obdobích. Mezi klíčové události patří nástup modernizace, japonská anexe, rozdělení Koreje a následná snaha o obnovení národní identity. Významnou roli sehrál také příliv zahraničních vlivů a vznik nových konceptů a přístupů, které umožňují přirozenou transformaci tradičního tance. Součástí práce je také analýza zaměřená na současné podoby tradičních tanců a porovnání různých způsobů jejich scénické interpretace.
