Komentovaný překlad vzpomínkové črty Ariadny Efronové věnované ruské básnířce Marině Cvetajevové

Abstract

Předkládaná diplomová práce si klade za cíl vytvořit komentovaný překlad části vzpomínek ruské literátky Ariadny Efronové (1912-1975) věnovaných její matce, básnířce Marině Cvetajevové (1892-1941), její rodině a společnému životu v Rusku a v Sovětském svazu. Praktickou část práce tvoří vlastní překlad jedné ze vzpomínkových črt. Teoretická část se skládá z kapitoly o autorce, jejím díle a z doprovodného komentáře k překladu. Komentář se zaměřuje na překládaný text, jeho žánrovou charakteristiku, stavbu a okolnosti jeho vzniku. Dále reflektuje konkrétní obtížná místa v překladu, která se vyskytují jak na stylistické, tak na sémantické rovině, a zdůvodňuje volbu překladatelské metody při jejich řešení. Objasňuje také kulturní konotace a aluze, ruské a sovětské reálie a další zajímavé jevy, které se v textu vyskytují. Doprovodný komentář vychází především z terminologie slovenského teoretika překladu Antona Popoviče.

The aim of the submitted master's thesis is to create an annotated translation of a part of the memoirs of the Russian writer Ariadna Efron (1912-1975) dedicated to her mother, the poet Marina Tsvetaeva (1892-1941), their family, and their life together in Russia and in the Soviet Union. The practical part of the thesis is my own translation of one of the memoir essays. The theoretical part includes a chapter about the author and her work and an accompanying commentary on the translation. The commentary focuses on the translated text, the circumstances of its creation, and its genre characteristics. It also reflects on specific difficulties in the translation, which occur both on the stylistic and semantic levels, and explains the reasons for the choice of the translation method in dealing with them. It also clarifies cultural connotations and allusions, Russian and Soviet realia, and other interesting phenomena that occur in the text. The accompanying commentary is based primarily on the terminology of the Slovak translation theorist Anton Popovič.
