Socioekonomické a geografické faktory volební podpory koalice SPOLU a hnutí ANO ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny v letech 2017 a 2021

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the factors of electoral support for the SPOLU coalition (ODS, KDU-ČSL, TOP 09), and the ANO movement in the 2017 and 2021 elections to the Chamber of Deputies in Czechia. These factors are compositional and geographical (contextual). First objective of the thesis is to identify regional differences between the electoral support of the SPOLU coalition (ODS, KDU-ČSL, TOP 09) and the ANO movement. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze the factors of electoral support, to assess which ones had an impact on the choice of the given party/coalition with an emphasis on comparing the influence of factors over time and between entities. Theoretical framework of the thesis is based on the cleavage theory, which postulates the effects of compositional factors. The analysis was carried out at the level of districts of Czechia. The election results in the districts were shown in the form of a cartogram. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the determinants of electoral support. Electoral support in the districts varies considerably between the SPOLU coalition parties and the ANO movement in 2017 and 2021. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou faktorů volební podpory koalice SPOLU (resp. ODS, KDU-ČSL, TOP 09) a hnutí ANO ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny v letech 2017 a 2021 v Česku. Tyto faktory jsou kompoziční a geografické (kontextové). Úvodním cílem této práce je zjistit regionální rozdíly mezi volební podporou koalice SPOLU (ODS, KDU-ČSL, TOP 09) a hnutím ANO. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, jaké faktory volební podpory měly vliv na volbu dané strany/koalice, a to s důrazem na porovnání vlivu faktorů v čase a mezi subjekty. Po teoretické stránce práce vychází z modifikované teorie štěpných linií, která postuluje vliv různých druhů kompozičních faktorů. Analýza proběhla na úrovni okresů Česka. Volební výsledky v okresech byly znázorněny formou kartogramu. Pro analýzu faktorů volební podpory byla využita vícenásobná lineární regresní analýza. Volební podpora koaličních stran SPOLU a hnutí ANO se do značné míry liší v okresech v letech 2017 a 2021. Jako nejvýznamnější faktory volební podpory byly u těchto politických subjektů zjištěny volební účast a podíl vysokoškolsky vzdělaných osob. Volební účast a podíl vysokoškolsky vzdělaných osob v obou sněmovních volbách v letech 2017 a 2021 pozitivně ovlivňovaly volební výsledky koaličních stran, zatímco u hnutí ANO měly opačný vliv.
