Natália Kozerawska Title of the Thesis: Immediate Effect of TR-Therapy on Morphological and Functional Parameters of Muscle Tissue Annotation: Targeted radiofrequency therapy (TR-Therapy) is commonly used in physiotherapeutic practice; however, its acute effects on healthy muscle tissue remain insufficiently explored. This thesis evaluates the immediate impact of a single TR-Therapy session on morphological (muscle thickness of the m. rectus femoris) and functional (knee joint flexion range) parameters in a healthy population. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the physiological mechanisms of TR-Therapy and point to possibilities for its more efficient application in daily physiotherapy practice. Objective: The aim of this study was to assess whether a single application of TR-Therapy can influence the thickness of the m. rectus femoris muscle and the range of knee flexion in healthy adults, and whether there is a relationship between these changes and the subjectively set intensity of therapy. Natália Kozerawska Název práce: Okamžitý efekt TR-Therapy na morfologické a funkční parametry svalové tkáně Anotace: Cílená radiofrekvenční terapie (TR terapie) se v současné době běžně využívá v oblasti fyzioterapie, avšak její akutní účinky na zdravou svalovou tkáň nejsou dosud dostatečně prozkoumány. Tato diplomová práce hodnotí okamžitý vliv jednorázové aplikace TR-Therapy na morfologické (tloušťku svalu m. rectus femoris) a funkční (rozsah flexe v kolenním kloubu) parametry u zdravé populace. Na základě těchto zjištění můžeme lépe porozumět fyziologickému pôsobení TR terapie a naznačit možnosti jejího efektivnějšího využití v každodenní fyzioterapeutické praxi. Cíl práce: Cílem bylo zhodnotit, zda jednorázová aplikace TR terapie ovlivní tloušťku svalu m. rectus femoris a rozsah flexe v kolenním kloubu u zdravých dospělých osob a zda existuje souvislost mezi těmito změnami a subjektivně nastavenou intenzitou terapie. Metody: Do experimentu bylo zařazeno 50 zdravých dobrovolníků (n = 50; věk 20-36 let), u nichž byla před a po aplikaci TR terapie změřena tloušťka svalu m. rectus femoris pomocí ultrasonografie (Samsung Medison HS30/XH30) a rozsah flexe v kolenním kloubu pomocí modifikovaného Thomasova testu s využitím standardního goniometru.
