Abstract

Title: Case study of orthotic­prosthetic care for a patient with a diagnosis of pes equinovarus congenitus and below knee amputation Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to theoretically study and describe the issues of the orthopedic defect pes equinovarus congenitus, amputations and prosthetic options with a focus on below knee amputations and, based on this knowledge, to proces a patient case study and describe in detail the process of manufacturing prosthetic equipment for solving below knee amputation. Methods: The thesis consists of two main parts, namely theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains information about the orthopedic defect pes equinovarus congenitus, about amputations and introduces the field of orthotics­prosthetics with a more detailed description of the subfield of prosthetics. The practical part contains the case study of a patient with a diagnosis of the below knee amputation due to uncorrectable pes equinovarus congenitus with a detailed description of the process of manufacturing prosthetic equipment for this patient. Results: The result of the thesis is a new definitive prosthesis for a very active patient. Název: Kazuistika ortoticko-protetické péče o pacienta s diagnózou pes equinovarus congenitus a amputací v bérci Cíle: Práce si klade za cíl teoretické nastudování a popis problematiky ortopedické vady pes equinovarus congenitus, amputací a možností protetiky se zaměřením na amputace v bérci a na základě těchto znalostí zpracovat kazuistiku pacientky a detailně popsat proces výroby protetického vybavení pro řešení amputace v bérci. Metody: Práce je složena ze dvou hlavních částí, a to části teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o ortopedické vadě pes equinovarus congenitus, o amputacích a přibližuje obor ortotika-protetika s bližším popisem podoboru protetika. Praktická část obsahuje samotnou kazuistiku pacientky s diagnózou amputace v bérci z důvodu nekorigovatelné pes equinovarus congenitus s detailním popisem procesu výroby vybavení pro tohoto pacienta. Výsledky: Výsledkem práce je zhotovená nová definitivní protéza pro velmi aktivní pacientku. Tato protéza přispěla ke zvýšení aktivity pacientky a umožnila jí vykonávání nestandardně náročných aktivit, což značně přispělo ke zlepšení kvality života dané pacientky.
