Jídlo v současné japonské literatuře

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou jídla v současné japonské literatuře a zkoumá různé způsoby zobrazování motivů jídla, vaření a stravování v současné japonské literatuře. V první části práce jsou popsány funkce jídla v literatuře a jsou vymezeny pojmy a metody, s nimiž autorka dále pracuje. Stěžejní část práce představuje praktická část, ve které autorka provádí rozbor děl vybraných současných japonských autorů. Na tvorbě Harukiho Murakamiho a dílech jako Kiččin, Konbini ningen a Sensei no kaban zkoumá například to, jakou funkci v těchto textech jídlo plní nebo jak s motivy jídla pracují daní autoři. Autorka dále analyzuje, o jaké jídlo se jedná, jak je vyobrazeno a zda má nějakou symbolickou funkci.

This thesis examines the issue of food in contemporary Japanese literature and explores the various ways in which the motifs of food, cooking and eating are portrayed in contemporary Japanese literature. In the first part of the thesis, the functions of food in literature are described and the concepts and methods the author works with are defined. The core of the thesis is the practical section, in which the author analyses the works of selected contemporary Japanese authors. Using the work of Haruki Murakami and works such as Kitchen, Konbini ningen and Sensei no kaban, she examines what function food fulfills in these texts and how the respective authors work with food motifs. The author further analyzes what kind of food is depicted and how, and whether it has any symbolic function.
