Venkovské povídky Karoliny Světlé

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se věnuje pozdním povídkám Karoliny Světlé a zaměřuje se konkrétně na cyklus povídek Prostá mysl. V rámci povídek obsahuje jednak na jejich stručné představení, ale především charakteristiky jednotlivých hlavních postav. Na začátku přináší stručný výběrový přehled badatelů, kteří se zaměřují na venkovskou prózu Karoliny Světlé. Poté představuje samotný povídkový cyklus Prostá mysl a jeho jednotlivé postavy, které blíže charakterizuje. Cílem práce je zachytit celkový pohled na protagonisty, zvlášť pak na jejich proměny v chování a charakteru. V závěru práce je alespoň částečná snaha o syntézu postav z celého cyklu.

anglicky The bachelor's thesis focuses on the late short stories of Karolina Světlá and specifically examines the cycle of stories titled Prostá mysl. It includes a brief introduction to the stories, but primarily it characterizes the individual main characters. At the beginning, it provides a concise selection of researchers who focus on the rural prose of Karolina Světlá. It then presents the short story cycle Prostá mysl itself and characterizes its individual figures in more detail. The aim of the thesis is to capture an overall view of the protagonists, especially regarding their transformations in behavior and character. In the conclusion, there is at least a partial effort to synthesize the characters from the entire cycle.
