Možnosti vzdělávání seniorů v Lysé nad Labem

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi vzdělávání seniorů v Lysé nad Labem. Jejím cílem je prozkoumat zkušenost vybraných seniorů s možnostmi vzdělávání ve městě. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří aktivní senioři ve věku 65+, kteří žijí mimo institucionální péči, a alespoň jednou ročně se účastní vzdělávací aktivity pořádané městem. Téma vzdělávání seniorů je v teoretické části zasazeno do kontextu problematiky stárnutí populace. Práce definuje pojmy stáří, stárnutí, senior a propojuje je s poznatky z oblasti gerontagogiky. Objasňuje téma aktivního stárnutí, vliv vzdělávání na kvalitu života a důležitost celoživotního učení. Seznamuje se specifiky vzdělávání seniorů v souvislosti s jejich motivací v účasti a překážkami, které jim v účasti brání. Specifikuje roli lektora dalšího vzdělávání v rámci edukace seniorů. Představuje instituce zajišťující vzdělávání seniorů v České republice. Seznamuje se sociodemografickými údaji o Lysé nad Labem a možnostmi vzdělávání seniorů dohledatelnými z veřejných zdrojů. Výzkumné šetření v rámci empirické části bylo provedeno kvalitativním přístupem, jehož metodologický rámec tvořily polostrukturované rozhovory s devíti vybranými seniory. The thesis explores the educational opportunities for seniors in Lysá nad Labem. Its aim is to examine the experiences of selected seniors with educational activities in the town. The research sample consists of active seniors aged 65+, living outside institutional care, who participate in at least one educational activity organized by the town annually. The topic of senior education is placed within the context of population aging in the theoretical part of the thesis. It defines the concepts of old age, aging, and senior, linking them with insights from the field of gerontagogy. It explains the concept of active aging, the impact of education on quality of life, and the importance of lifelong learning. It introduces the specifics of senior education, focusing on their motivation to participate and the barriers that hinder their involvement. It specifies the role of adult education lecturer in the education of seniors. The thesis presents institutions that provide senior education in the Czech Republic. It also explores sociodemographic data about Lysá nad Labem and the educational opportunities for seniors available from public sources.
