Fotbal a politika: případová studie významného sportovního klubu v Turecku

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá tématem vlivu prezidentů fotbalových klubů na jejich působení ve veřejném prostoru. Konkrétně se soustředí na turecký sportovní a fotbalový klub Fenerbahçe. V první části práce je nastíněno pozadí tureckého fotbalu a jeho vztahu s politikou napříč 20. stoletím. Druhá část se věnuje funkčnímu období Azize Yıldırıma, který byl prezidentem klubu Fenerbahçe v letech 1998-2018. V této části se práce věnuje jeho vztahům s politiky a tomu, jakým způsobem prezentoval sebe a svůj klub ve veřejném prostoru. Poslední část, analytická, se věnuje období od roku 2018 do roku 2021. V této části jsou analyzovány vybraná vyjádření jak klubu, tak Aliho Koçe, který od roku 2018 klub vede.

This thesis deals with the topic of influence of football club chairmen on their actions in public space. It especially focuses on Turkish sports and football club Fenerbahçe. In the first part of the thesis is outline of the background of Turkish football and its relationship with politics during 20th century. The second part deals with the term of office of Aziz Yıldırım, who was the chairman of Fenerbahçe in the years 1998-2018. In this part of the thesis is focus on his relationships with politics and how he presented himself and the club in public space. The last, analytical part, is devoted to the period from 2018 to 2021. In this part are analyzed chosen statements of both the club and Ali Koç, who has been leading the club since 2018.
