Vliv diabetu mellitu I. typu na aktivity denního života u dětí

Abstract

The Bachelor's thesis on the topic "Influence of type I diabetes mellitus on activities of daily life" is focused on the daily activities of children with type I diabetes mellitus, or diabetes. This disease is typical for childhood and its incidence is currently increasing. The aim of the work is to find out whether diabetes affects the activities of daily life in children and to investigate more closely in which areas and to what extent. The work is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on current knowledge about the disease, the history of the disease, its symptoms, diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, activities of daily life, familiarization with the concept of self- sufficiency, self-care and children's needs. For research in the empirical part, was used a self- constructed questionnaire, which contained twenty-five items and was answered by sixty- seven respondents from the Pediatric Clinic at the Motol University Hospital, aged nine to eighteen. This section presents the working hypotheses, methodology and organization of the investigation. The conclusion of the work is the results of the work, which are depicted in graphic and tabular overviews and the discussion. Bakalářská práce na téma "Vliv diabetu mellitu I.typu na aktivity denního života" je zaměřená na denní aktivity dětí s onemocněním diabetes mellitus I.typu, neboli cukrovkou. Toto onemocnění je typické pro dětský věk a jeho výskyt v současné době velmi roste. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda diabetes ovlivňuje aktivity denního života u dětí a blíže prozkoumat v jakých oblastech a do jaké míry. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na dosavadní poznatky o onemocnění, historii onemocnění, jeho příznaky, na diagnostiku a léčbu. Dále na aktivity denního života, seznámení s pojmem soběstačnost, sebepéče a potřeby dětí. Pro výzkum v empirické části byl použit dotazník vlastní konstrukce, který obsahoval dvacet pět položek a který vyplnilo šedesát sedm respondentů z Pediatrické kliniky ve Fakultní nemocnici v Motole, ve věku devět až osmnáct let. V této části jsou uvedeny pracovní hypotézy, metodika a organizace šetření. Závěrem práce jsou výsledky práce, které jsou vyobrazeny v grafických a tabelárních přehledech a samotná diskuse.
