dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce pojednává o aktuální právní úpravě bankovní regulace v ČR. Analyzuje jak českou, tak relevantní evropskou úpravu, která má v této oblasti stále větší význam. Upozorněno je také na nejzásadnější změny, které se v posledních letech odehrály v důsledku implementace standardů Basel III. Na problematiku je nahlíženo interdisciplinárně a vedle analýzy platné právní úpravy jsou hodnoceny také její ekonomické dopady na český bankovní sektor. Vzhledem k šíři problematiky bankovní regulace je práce zaměřena pouze na některé dílčí oblasti, které autor považoval za nejvýznamnější. V první úvodní kapitole je pojednáno o teoretických východiscích bankovnictví a regulace a je důkladně definován pojem "banka", a to jak z právního, tak z ekonomického hlediska. Druhá kapitola se zabývá institutem bankovní licence, který má zásadní význam v oblasti regulace vstupu na bankovní trh. Jsou analyzovány podmínky udělení licence, dále problematika jednotné licence v rámci EU a také zánik licence. Třetí kapitola se zabývá širokou a velmi významnou oblastí bankovních rizik. Je diskutována podstata jednotlivých rizik, dále metody jejich měření a řízení a také kapitálové požadavky. Důraz je kladen zejména na riziko úvěrové, riziko tržní a riziko operační, tedy rizika, která jsou z pohledu kapitálových požadavků...	cs_CZ
dc.description.abstract	This thesis deals with the current legislation of banking regulation in the Czech Republic. It analyzes both Czech and relevant European regulation that has increasing importance in the area. Moreover, the most significant amendments enacted as a result of the Basel III implementation are pointed out. The issue is viewed from an interdisciplinary perspective therefore, in addition to the analysis of current legislation, its economic impact on the Czech banking sector is also evaluated. Due to the enormous breadth of the banking regulation field, this thesis focuses on examining the areas considered most essential by the author. The first introductory chapter lays down the theoretical foundations of banking and banking regulation and thoroughly defines the term "bank", both legally and economically. The second chapter deals with banking licensure, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of accessing the activity of banks. It analyzes the requirements that have to be met in order to be authorized, as well as the issue of the single EU passport and the withdrawal of the authorization. The third chapter deals with the wide and significant area of banking risks.
