Profesní orientace neslyšících žáků

Abstract

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zmapovat profesní orientaci neslyšících žáků závěrečných ročníků vybraných základních škol pro sluchově postižené a výsledky usouvztažnit s podobnými šetřeními realizovanými u žáků bez sluchového postižení. Na základě studia příslušné odborné literatury jsou v začátku práce vymezeny obecné faktory, které profesní orientaci ovlivňují, taktéž je nastíněn vývoj profesní orientace dle teorie životních stádií D. E. Supera. Práce se dále soustředí na popis faktorů ovlivňujících profesní orientaci, které jsou specifické pro neslyšící žáky vzdělávané ve školách pro sluchově postižené, jako jsou identita neslyšících, kultura neslyšících, postoje společnosti k neslyšícím lidem, jazyková a informační bariéra a vzdělávací systém neslyšících žáků v České republice, včetně obecného popisu podoby předprofesní přípravy ve školách pro sluchově postižené. Na základě analýzy kurikulárních dokumentů a informací od pedagogických pracovníků práce popisuje konkrétní podobu předprofesní přípravy ve třech základních školách pro sluchově postižené, jejichž žákům 9. a 10. ročníků byl následně předložen dotazník zkoumající jejich vzdělanostní a profesní aspirace. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření jsou v závěru práce usouvztažněny a porovnány s výsledky výzkumů realizovaných u žáků bez sluchového postižení.

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to learn about vocational orientation of deaf pupils in their last years of study at selected elementary schools for the Deaf and to compare the results to results of similar studies done with pupils without hearing impairment. Based on relevant scientific sources, the paper introduces general aspects that shape vocational orientation, also describes vocational development on D. E. Super's Career Development Theory. The thesis continues with characterizing aspects that shape vocational orientation, but are specific for deaf pupils who attend elementary schools for the Deaf, e.g. Deaf identity, Deaf culture, attitudes of the majority towards deaf people, the language and information barrier and the educational system for deaf pupils in the Czech Republic, including a depiction of the concept of vocational training at schools for the Deaf. Based on an analysis of the curricular documents and information provided by teachers, the paper also describes the concept of vocational training at three selected schools for the Deaf. These schools were then visited and their 9th and 10th grade students were presented with a questionnaire mapping their educational and vocational aspirations.
