Bezpečí komunikace s cizinci ve zdravotnických zařízeních

Abstract

Tématem této bakalářské práce je "Bezpečí komunikace s cizinci ve zdravotnických zařízeních". Úkolem bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem mají vybraná zdravotnická zařízení zajištěnou komunikaci s pacientem - cizincem. Hlavní hypotézou bylo, zda daný poskytovatel využívá oficiálních tlumočníků jazykových agentur a nedochází tak ke vzniku rizika poškození pacientova zdraví. Teoretická část zkoumá komunikaci v oblasti pacient a lékař a její funkci jako nástroje prevence rizik ve zdravotnictví. Podstatná část je věnována specifické komunikaci s cizincem během čerpání zdravotní péče, věnuje se problematice jazykových bariér a v neposlední řadě také tlumočení. Situace, během kterých může cizinec čerpat zdravotní péči, jsou popsány vsamostatné kapitole. Jedná se především o akutní stavy, problematiku medicínské turistiky a přeshraniční péči. Poslední kapitolou teoretické části jsou české i mezinárodní právní úpravy a nemocniční standardy právě v oblasti tlumočení a cizích jazyků. Ve výzkumné části je popsána metodika sběru dat, to znamená, jakým způsobem byly vybrané zařízení oslovovány, s popisem položených otázek a jak budou data dále využitá. Nejpodstatnější část - analýza a interpretace sběru dat - rozebírá detailně jednotlivé zkoumané body a v diskuzi dochází k porovnání s vybranými zahraničními studiemi. Části...

The theme of this thesis is "Safety Communication regarding to foreigners in health-care facilities". The main purpose of this thesis is primarily concerned with determining how selected health-care facilities ensure communication with a foreigner patient. The main hypothesis examines whether the provider utilizes official interpreters and whether there does exist a higher risk of damage to the patient's health. The theoretical part describes the communication in relation to the Patient-Physician relationship and its function as a tool for prevention of risk in health-care. A substantial part is devoted to a specific communication with the foreigner patient during a medical treatment; specifically, it deals with the issue of language barriers and interpreting. Subsequently, the period in which the foreigner is able to receive healthcare is described in a separate chapter; particularly regarding acute cases, e.g., the issue of medical tourism, cross-border healthcare and insurance of foreigners with subsequent reimbursement. The last chapter of the theoretical part is concerned with Czech and international legal regulations and hospital standards with regards to interpretation and foreign languages.
