Genderová analýza vybraných filmů Jiřího Vejdělka

Abstract

V této diplomové práci se zabývám genderovou analýzou filmů Jiřího Vejdělka, přesněji filmy Ženy v pokušení a Muži v naději z roku 2010, respektive 2011. Jedná se o komedie o ženách a mužích a jejich každodenních životech. První část je teoreticko-metodologická a představuji v ní základní koncepty, které jsem poté použila při analýze výše zmíněných filmů. V této části představím teorie např. o archetypech, moci nebo o mýtu krásy. Také zde píši o zobrazování žen ve filmech a jejich filmových rolích. V analytické části, tedy v druhé části mé práce, se věnuji samotné analýze filmů, při které využívám teoretické koncepty zmíněné v první části. Nejprve se věnuji jednotlivým postavám a archetypům, poté tomu, jak je v těchto filmech konstruována genderová moc, a nakonec jaké genderové stereotypy a role jsou ve filmech zobrazovány. In this diploma thesis, I analyze two films by director Jiří Vejdělek called Ženy v pokušení and Muži v naději, which were released in 2010, respectively in 2011. These two films are comedies about women and men and about their everyday lives. The first part of my diploma thesis consists of theoretical concepts and methodologies, which I use in the second part of my thesis, where I analyze these two films. In this part I introduce some theories about archetypes, power or beauty myth. I also use theories about women in films and their roles in them. In the second part of my diploma thesis at first I analyze each character by archetypes. Then I look for some evidence of gender power in these films and at last I concentrate on gender stereotypes and gender roles, which can be found in both films.
