Oborová brána MUSICA (MUS)

Abstract

(in English) The aim of this bachelor thesis is a description of Musica Subject Gateway (MUS), which is provided by the National Library of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part defines the term subject gateway, described is the history of the subject gateways in the Czech Republic and their connection to the Uniform Information Gateway. Following is the formation of the gateway Musica. Mentioned are also the most importatnt domestic and foreign information sources to which the gateway provides a unified access. The thesis describes services related to the portal - subject news and Czech office of the International Inventory of Musical Sources (RISM). Emphasis is also given on the used technology, which the MUS is based on. Those are the federated search MetaLib and SFX link server, which provides additional services. The practical part describes the search for information in the Musica Subject Gateway. In detail is described the accessibility of finding information, information sources and their classification into categories. Following is the case study in which are two respondents (graduate of conservatory, piano teacher) trying to find information in the gateway. (česky) Cílem bakalářské práce je popis oborové brány Musica (MUS), která je zajišťována Národní Knihovnou České republiky. V teoretické části je definován termín oborová brána, popsána historie vzniku oborových bran v České republice a jejich navázání na Jednotnou informační bránu. Dále je popsán vznik samotné brány Musica. Zmíněny jsou též nejvýznamnější domácí i zahraniční informační prameny, ke kterým brána poskytuje jednotný přístup. V práci jsou popsány i poskytované služby související s portálem - oborové zpravodajství a česká redakce Mezinárodního soupisu hudebních pramenů RISM. Důraz je věnován i na použité technologie, na kterých MUS stojí. Těmi jsou federativní vyhledávač MetaLib a link server SFX, který zajišťuje doplňkové služby. V praktické části je popsáno samotné vyhledávání informací v oborové bráně Musica. Detailně jsou rozepsány možnosti dohledání informací, zdrojů a jejich členění do kategorií. Následuje případová studie, ve které se dvě respondentky (absolventka konzervatoře, učitelka hry na klavír), snaží vyhledat v oborové bráně informace. Jejich snažení je popsáno, analyzováno a na jeho základě jsou sepsána doporučení, jež by učinila vyhledávání v bráně přívětivějším pro nezkušené uživatele.
