Mínění sester o eutanazii

Abstract

Bakalářská práce "Mínění sester o eutanazii" se zabývá přístupem sester k umírání, jejich povědomím o existenci paliativní péče a postojem k eutanazii. Práce je rozdělena do dvou úseků, teoretického a empirického. Teoretická část přináší pojednání o umírání, eutanazii a paliativní péči jakožto navzájem úzce propojených oblastí. Empirická část popisuje metodiku a výsledky kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření mezi dvěma úzce specifikovanými skupinami sester - sestrami pracujícími v hospicích a sestrami z akutních a dlouhodobě intenzivních lůžek. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky šetření, z nějž vyplynuly rozdíly v přístupu k eutanazii a jejího právního zabezpečení mezi sestrami z intenzivních a hospicových lůžek, nikoliv tak ve znalosti pojmu paliativní péče.

The bachelor thesis "Attitude of nurses to euthanasia" focuses on an understanding of dying, euthanasia and palliative care and their attitude to euthanasia. The work is devided into two parts - a theoretical one and an empirical one. The theoretical part describes the methodology and results of quantitative research by the use of questionaire comparing two specified groups of nurses - hospic care nurses and intensive care nurses. There are summarised findings from the investigation in the conclusion which showes the differences between intensive care nurses and hospic care nurses in attitude to euthanasia and its legislative security, but not in the knowledge of palliative care.
