Postupně sleduje vývoj utopických myšlenek o funkci a výstavbách galerijních a muzejních institucí. Druhou část práce tvoří kapitoly o vzniku a významu děl institucionální kritiky v západním umění, větší pozornost je věnována osobnostem Hanse Haackeho, Marcela Broodthaerse a Michaela Ashera. Poslední podkapitola popisuje kontext institucionální kritiky v Československu, důvody její možné absence, a v neposlední řadě analyzuje vybraná díla českého umělce Dominika Langa a jeho slovenského kolegy Romana Ondáka. | cs_CZ |
dc.description.abstract | In its first chapters the thesis deals with the development of utopian ideas of the function and construction of art institutions. Firstly the situation in Western art world before 20th century is analysed. Then the following chapters are dedicated to the origin and development of National Museum and National Gallery in Czech environment. The discussion on institutional definition of art that was led by Anglo-American art theorists Arthur Danto, George Dickie and Richard Wollheim is also very briefly mentioned. The second half of the thesis is comprised of the origin and significance of the artworks dealing with the institutional critique in West, with the closer focus on Hans Haacke, Marcel Broodthaers and Michael Asher; and of the context of institutional critique in Czechoslovakia. Last but not least, there are two chapters concerning the selected artworks of Dominik Lang and Roman Ondák. | en_US |
