Jelikož doposud nevznikla žádná monografie o tomto umělci, jsou v první části práce a v příloze zařazeny životopisné údaje a umělecké počiny Yoshi Oidy. Druhá část se stručně zabývá historií japonského tradičního divadla a vlivy tradičních japonských divadelních forem na tvorbu Yoshi Oidy a jeho chápání divadla. Třetí část obsahuje historii oper a inspirační zdroje, analýzu scénografie obou pražských inscenací a srovnání společných a rozdílných režijních přístupů.
