Langerovi Andělé mezi námi a problém eutanazie

Abstract

Náplní této bakalářské práce je podrobná analýza hry Františka Langera Andělé mezi námi, kterou sepsal v roce 1931. Ač byla napsána před více jak osmdesáti lety, stále se vyjadřuje k velmi aktuálním tématům. Jedním z hlavních témat hry, na které se autorka zaměřuje, je problém euthanasie, o němž se debatovalo již od antického Řecka a Říma a debaty neustávají ani v dnešní době. V práci je rozebíráno, jak se s námětem zachází v samotné hře, jaké názory na euthanasii panovaly v minulých staletích, v době, kdy byla hra napsána, a pozornost je zaměřena i na současnost.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the play of František Langer Angels among us, which he wrote in 1931. Although it was written more than eighty years ago, it still expresses the very topical issues. One of the main themes of the play, which the author addresses is the problem of euthanasia, which has been debated since ancient Greece and Rome and cease debate even today. The paper includes a description of how to treat the theme in the play itself, what opinions on euthanasia prevailed in past centuries, when the play was written and attention is focused even on the present.
