Egypt očima novodobého hermetismu

Abstract

Hermetismus je stále živý myšlenkový proud. Jednotliví autoři mají různé názory na to, jak a zda vůbec staroegyptská kultura vznik hermetismu ovlivnila. Avšak v prostředí, ve kterém postava Herma Trismegista vznikla, nemůžeme v žádném případě působení egyptských vlivů zcela opomenout. Studium hermetismu bývá egyptology a religionisty spíše opomíjené. Naproti tomu zájem laické veřejnosti nikdy neopadnul a v současné době z něj čerpají současná i vznikající alternativní náboženství a hnutí

Hermeticism is a school of thought that is still alive. The authors have different views on how and whether the emergence of ancient Egyptian culture influenced the Hermetic. However, in an environment in which the figure of Hermes Trismegistus was established, we can't ignored the Egyptian's influence in any way. The egyptologists nad religionis almost are not interested in study of hermetism. In contrast of this, the lay people were always inerested in it and currently many alternative religions and movements are based on it.
