Fenomén hudby v antické filosofii.

Abstract

The aim of this work is to refer to a role of music in ancient thinking, especially in ancient pythagoreanism in conjunction with their properly elaborated music theory, which includes mathematics, ethics and cosmological conceptions. The life and work of Pythagoras of Samos is described detaily in the first chapter. In following chapters there are some descriptions of pythagorean doctrines and teaching of Pythagoras himself in pythagorean community. There is also an analysis of the central idea of pythagorean philosophy - the number and the music theory in detail.

Tato práce si klade za cíl poukázat na roli hudby v antickém myšlení, zejména pak u pythagorejců v souvislosti s propracovaností jejich hudební teorie, která v sobě zahrnuje matematiku, etiku a představy o výstavbě světa. Život a dílo Pythagory ze Sámu je podrobně prozkoumáno v první kapitole. Kapitoly následující jsou věnovány jeho doktrínám a učení v pythagorejské komunitě, stejně jako rozboru ústředního motivu pythagorejské filosofie, kterým je číslo a podrobnějšímu rozboru hudební teorie.
