Blízký východ v koncepu evropské politiky sousedství

Abstract

Ústředním zájmem diplomové práce je aplikace evropské politiky sousedství v regionu Blízkého východu. Cílem práce je posoudit funkčnost evropské politiky sousedství jako stabilizačního mechanismu na základě analýzy její aplikace ve třech partnerských zemích regionu a analýzy přístupu evropské politiky sousedství k palestinsko-izraelskému konfliktu, který významně ovlivňuje stabilitu blízkovýchodního regionu. Výzkumná část práce postupuje metodou analytické čase study a čerpá především z dokumentů publikovaných Evropskou komisí k evropské politice sousedství.

The main concern of the thesis is the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) application in the region of the Middle East. The goal of the thesis is to explore the functionality of the ENP as the instrument for the regional stabilization. This goal is to be achieved via analysis of the ENP application in three partner countries in the region and via the analysis of the ENP aproach to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict which affects the regional stability quite significantly. The research is based on case-study method. The ENP documents published by European Commission are used as the primary sources.
