Teoretická část pojednává o problematice obezity, o možnosti léčby obezity, o robotickém operačním systému da Vinci. Především je zaměřena na operační metodu robotickou tubulizaci žaludku. Dále shrnuje předoperační péči o pacienta po této operaci. Také se okrajově zmiňuje o psychologické podpoře a péči o pacienta po zákroku. Empirická část shrnuje pooperační péči o pacienta po této operaci, obsahuje možné ošetřovatelské diagnózy. Dále pomocí dotazníku zjišťuje důvody, které pacienty vedly k podstoupení zákroku, rozdíly ve zvládání pooperační péče mezi jednotlivými pacienty. Dotazuje se na druh a množství časných pooperačních komplikací. Zjišťuje, zda pacienti před tímto výkonem zkoušeli jiný způsob redukce váhy a jaký konkrétně. Také se zabývá představou pacientů o redukci váhy po výkonu. Zkoumaný vzorek tvoří 50 pacientů po robotické sleeve gastrektomii.

The bachelor's thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the obesity issue, with possibility of obesity treatment, with robot operating system ad Vinci. Mainly, it is focused on an operating method of robot-assisted tubulisation of the stomach. Further, it summarizes the pre-operative care of the patient after this operation. It also touches on psychological support and care of the patient after the operation tangentially. The empirical part summarizes the postoperative care of the patient after this operation, contains possible nursing diagnoses. Further, by means of a questionnaire, it finds out the reasons making the patients undergo the intervention, the differences in coping with postoperative care between individual patients. It asks about the type and quantity of early postoperative complications. It finds out, whether the patients tried an alternative method of weight reduction before this operation and what in particular. It also deals with patient's idea of weight reduction after the operation. The sample surveyed comprises 50 patients after the robot-assisted sleeve gastrectomy.
