První zrušení žďárského kláštera

Abstract

The work is concerned with the first abolition of Žďár Monastery (1614) and conflicts which developed into it. It focuses on power mechanisms, individual participants of these disputes (e.g. the monarch, Olomouc bishops, order visitor, Žďár monastic community, nuncios, monastery subjects) and on their arguments. It tries for example to find the answer to the question which aspects of the Žďár case correspond with general tendencies of the time period and what specific features there are. The topic of the work is set into the context of the state of the Catholic Church in the 16th century and the monarch's policy towards monasteries.

Práce se zabývá prvním zrušením žďárského kláštera (1614) a konflikty, které k němu vedly. Zaměřuje se na mocenské mechanismy, jednotlivé aktéry sporů (mj. panovník, olomoučtí biskupové, řádový vizitátor, žďárská řeholní komunita, nunciové, klášterní poddaní) a na jejich argumentaci. Snaží se mj. o nalezení odpovědi na otázku, které aspekty kauzy Žďár odpovídají obecnějším tendencím své doby a jaká jsou naopak její specifika. Téma práce je zasazeno do kontextu stavu katolické církve v 16. století a panovnické politiky vůči klášterům.
