Klíčové pojmy: HIV/AIDS, nemoc, prevence, léčba, morální teologie, křesťanské hodnoty, kvalita života Tato práce pojednává o některých etických otázkách spojených s nemocí HIV/AIDS, část jich nastoluje a část se jich pokouší řešit. V první části se zabývá samotnou nemocí a jejími příčinami, její historií, výskytem, počtem nakažených, léčbou a prevencí. V dalších částech nastoluje některé etické otázky, které s nakažením virem HIV a nemocí AIDS souvisí. Mluví se zde o testování na protilátky viru HIV, o problémech s informováním o nakažení virem HIV a nemoci AIDS, o problémech spojených s ošetřováním a léčením nakažených a nemocných a také o některých problémech spojených s životem těchto lidí. Keywords: HIV/AIDS, infection disease, prevention, therapy, moral theology, Christian Values The goal of the dissertation is to give some informations on ethics problems connecting with HIV/AIDS infection.Partly informing about these problems, partly solving these problems. The first chapter describes illness, its origin and history, statistic dates in the world and in our country, the way of the transmission, diagnostic and therapy of this disease and prevention. In the following part the problem of serological examination is analysed and also some problems around information about of this disease, about nursing problems and ethics aspect of HIV therapy. The right of the positive persons to get married and to give birth to a child is discussed. Finally, problematics of disease's acquirement, the process of dying and death is also discussed. I tis all reflected throw the catholic moral theology.
