Reprezentace vlivu mocností na utváření korejské státnosti ve středoškolských učebnicích dějepisu v KR a KLDR

Abstract

(česky) Dizertační práce analyzuje reprezentaci mocností, resp. jejich úlohu v moderních korejských dějinách, zvláště během utváření korejské státnosti. Podkladem pro analýzu jsou středoškolské učebnice dějepisu ve formativním období Korejské republiky a Korejské lidově demokratické republiky 50. až 80. let 20. století. Studie zkoumá vývoj výuky národních dějin na příkladu zobrazení intervence mocností od prvních kontaktů s Korejským poloostrovem v druhé polovině 19. století do založení dvou samostatných států v roce 1948 ve vztahu k (ideologickým) postojům států a dobovému akademickému diskurzu. K analýze korpusu o celkem sedmi učebnicích dějepisu využívám několikastupňové analýzy vycházející z metody zakotvené teorie a komparativní metody. Poznatky analýzy usouvstažňuji k dobovému akademickému diskurzu a historicko-politickým souvislostem. Cílem práce je objasnit, jakým způsobem a do jaké míry zasahují oba státy na Korejském poloostrově do výkladu nejen národních dějin, ale konkrétně do vytváření představ o okolních zemích v kontextu národní historie. Záměrem práce není přehodnotit historické události, ale analyzovat teleologické pojetí korejských dějin ve výuce dvou zemí se zdánlivě odlišnými národními identitami a výkladem dějin cílí na legitimizaci vlastní státnosti. (in English) The dissertation analyzes the representation of the Great powers, specifically their role in modern Korean history, particularly during the formation of Korean statehood. The analysis is based on high school history textbooks from the formative period of the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea between the 1950s and the 1980s. The study examines the development of national history education through the depiction of the Great powers' intervention, from the first contacts with the Korean Peninsula in the second half of the nineteenth century to the establishment of two separate states in 1948, in the context of the (ideological) positions of the states and the contemporary academic discourse. The corpus consists of seven history textbooks and I employ a multi-level analysis based on grounded theory methodology and comparative method. The findings of the analysis are contextualized within contemporary academic discourse and historical-political circumstances. The aim of the dissertation is to clarify how and to what extent both states on the Korean Peninsula intervene in the interpretation not only of national history, but specifically in the construction of perceptions of neighboring countries within the context of national history.
