Politické styly Václava Klause a Miloše Zemana

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zaměří na zkoumání politických stylů. Konkrétně na dva typy, tj. na styl standardní a styl populistický. Oba styly včetně jejich dominantních strategií budou s využitím odpovídající literatury a dalších dostupných pramenů detailně popsány. Následně budou stanoveny jednotlivé dimenze zkoumaných politických stylů, přičemž každé z dimenzí bude odpovídat indikátor za standardní a populistický styl (například dimenze rétoriky - indikátory jsou odosobněná komunikace s řadou odborných termínů u stylu standardního versus lidový jazyk a silná emocionalita u stylu populistického). Tyto indikátory budou sledovány v projevech dvou silných vůdců českého politického prostoru Václava Klause a Miloše Zemana, a to v časovém rozmezí od roku 1989 až do roku 2025. Skrze provedenou kvantitativní obsahovou analýzu zejména jejich projevů, ale i jiných než veřejných výstupů, bude možné vysledovat zmiňované indikátory. Tím se tato práce pokusí o zodpovězení výzkumných otázek orientovaných na to, zda u těchto dvou politiků došlo ve vymezeném časovém rámci ke změně jimi užívaného politického stylu, přesněji řečeno, zda u nich nastal zlom a ze stylu standardního přešli na styl populistický. This thesis will focus on examining political styles. Specifically, it will examine two types, namely the standard style and the populist style. Both styles, including their dominant strategies, will be described in detail using relevant literature and other available sources. Subsequently, the individual dimensions of the political styles examined will be determined, with each dimension corresponding to an indicator for the standard and populist styles (for example, the dimension of rhetoric - the indicators are impersonal communication with a number of technical terms in the standard style versus colloquial language and strong emotionality in the populist style). These indicators will be monitored in the speeches of two strong leaders of the Czech political arena, Václav Klaus and Miloš Zeman, in the period from 1989 to 2025. Through a quantitative content analysis of their speeches in particular, but also of other than public outputs, it will be possible to track the aforementioned indicators.
