Mifologemy v volšebnom mire Garri Pottera i ich voploščenije v perevodach

Abstract

Tato disertační práce se zabývá specifikou překladu reálií ve fantasy literatuře na příkladu knižní série Harry Potter od J. K. Rowlingové. Hlavní pozornost je zaměřena na způsoby překladu mytologémů do ruštiny, češtiny a ukrajinštiny a rovněž na čtenářskou percepci jednotlivých překladových řešení. Práce se také věnuje vývoji fantasy žánru, formování teoretických základů jeho překladu a přístupům k překladu reálií, přičemž mytologémy tvoří klíčovou kategorii výzkumu. Disertační práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část se věnuje roli fantasy v současném světě. Druhá část představuje teoretické a praktické aspekty překladu reálií ve fantasy žánru. Třetí část obsahuje praktickou analýzu: srovnávací rozbor vybraných mytologémů, analýzu výsledků dotazníkového šetření a následné porovnání zjištěných údajů. Na základě provedeného výzkumu jsou identifikovány hlavní tendence a navrženy optimální překladatelské strategie s ohledem na specifika žánru a teoretický rámec vymezený v této práci. This dissertation is devoted to the features of rendering realia in fantasy literature based on the Harry Potter series written by J.K. Rowling. The main focus of this work is on the methods of translating mythologems into Russian, Czech and Ukrainian, as well as on how readers perceive various translation strategies. The work also explores the development of the fantasy genre, the theoretical foundations of its translation, and translation approaches to rendering cultural realities, with mythologemes considered a key category of the study. This dissertation consists of three sections. The first section focuses on the signifikance of fantasy in the modern world. The second section presents theoretical and practical aspects of translating realia in the fantasy genre. The third section includes a practical study that covers a comparative analysis of the selected mythologemes, an analysis of the survey results, and a comparative review of the findings. Based on the analysis, key trends are identified, and optimal translation strategies are proposed, taking into account the genre-specific features and the theoretical framework outlined in the dissertation.
