Profesní kompetence policistů pro práci s osobami s parafilní preferencí: stigmatizace a evaluace efektu edukačního programu Parafilik

Abstract

The subjectively perceived level of professional competence and the level of stigmatization of people with paraphilic preferences play a key role in the willingness of professionals to work with this group, with insufficient knowledge and negative attitudes representing the main barriers to the use of care by paraphilic individuals. The purpose of the Parafilik educational program is precisely to develop specific work competence of police officers. The aim of this study is to 1) determine the perceived level of professional competence and willingness to work with paraphiles, 2) determine the level of stigmatization of non-offending paraphiles, and 3) evaluate the effect of the Parafilik educational program in a cohort of police officers (N = 62),. For this purpose, data from the original evaluation questionnaires administered as part of this educational program were analyzed. The research showed that after completing the program, police officers experienced a statistically significant increase in their subjective understanding of paraphilias and a subjective increase in their professional competence and willingness to work with paraphilic persons, although these changes were not statistically significant. Subjektivně vnímaná úroveň profesních kompetencí a míra stigmatizace osob s parafilní preferencí hrají klíčovou roli v ochotě odborníků pracovat s touto skupinou, přičemž nedostatečné znalosti a negativní postoje představují hlavní bariéry ve využívání péče parafilními jedinci. Účelem edukačního programu Parafilik je právě rozvoj specifických pracovních kompetencí policistů. Cílem této práce je u souboru policistů (N = 62) 1) zjistit vnímanou úroveň profesních kompetencí a ochoty pro práci s parafiliky, 2) zjistit míru stigmatizace nedelikventních parafilních osob a 3) vyhodnotit efekt edukačního programu Parafilik. Za tímto účelem byla analyzována data z původně evaluačních dotazníků administrovaných v rámci tohoto edukačního programu. Výzkum ukázal, že po jeho absolvování došlo u policistů ke statisticky signifikantnímu zvýšení subjektivního porozumění parafiliím a k subjektivnímu zvýšení profesních kompetencí a ochoty pracovat s parafilními osobami, ačkoli tyto změny statisticky signifikantní nebyly. Zároveň došlo ke snížení míry stigmatizace těchto osob, přičemž program přispěl k posunu k orientaci policistů na zpřístupnění péče pro tuto cílovou skupinu, což je zásadní pro prevenci sexuální delikvence.
