Jejím obsahem jsou také specifika ošetřovatelského přístupu u mentální anorexie a kvalita života. V empirické části bakalářská práce pojednává o porovnávání změn u dívek, které si prošly mentální anorexií, se zaměřením na změny v kvalitě života a roli ošetřovatelské péče v jednotlivých fázích onemocnění. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s třemi respondentkami. Cílem této práce bylo zhodnotit změny v kvalitě života a roli ošetřovatelské péče v jednotlivých fázích onemocnění. Bakalářská práce zjistila, že mentální anorexie výrazně snižuje kvalitu života, zejména během nemoci, a že individuální ošetřovatelská péče hraje zásadní roli v procesu zotavení.
