Téma nemoci rodinného příslušníka zprostředkované prostřednictvím literatury pro děti mladšího školního věku

Abstract

The diploma thesis "The theme of illness mediated through literature for children of younger school age" deals with how children can be introduced to complex life situations associated with illness, especially the illness of a family member, through literary works, and what educational and nurturing benefits such work with a book can have in the context of literary education at the first level of primary school. The theoretical part defines the concept of illness in the context of literature for children, describes the developmental characteristics of a child and presents methods of working with a book in a school environment. It also analyzes selected literary titles that reflect the theme of illness. The empirical part presents a research study carried out in the form of teaching lessons using the books Lentilka pro dědu Edu, Smutno se musí vyšeptat and Mojenka. Data on the reception of the texts and how children perceive this topic were obtained through observation, interviews with pupils and a questionnaire survey. The results show that literature can be an effective tool for opening up sensitive topics and developing empathy, understanding, and communication skills.

Diplomová práce "Téma nemoci zprostředkované prostřednictvím literatury pro děti mladšího školního věku" se zabývá tím, jak lze prostřednictvím literárních děl přiblížit dětem složité životní situace spojené s nemocí, zejména nemocí rodinného příslušníka, a jaké edukační a výchovné přínosy může mít taková práce s knihou v kontextu literární výchovy na 1. stupni základní školy. Teoretická část vymezuje pojem nemoci v kontextu literatury pro děti, popisuje vývojové charakteristiky dítěte a přibližuje způsoby práce s knihou ve školním prostředí. Dále se věnuje analýze vybraných literárních titulů, které reflektují téma nemoci. Empirická část představuje výzkumné šetření realizované formou výukových lekcí s využitím knih Lentilka pro dědu Edu, Smutno se musí vyšeptat a Mojenka. Prostřednictvím pozorování, rozhovorů se žáky a dotazníkového šetření byly získány údaje o recepci daných textů a o tom, jak děti toto téma vnímají. Výsledky ukazují, že literatura může být efektivním nástrojem k otevření citlivých témat a k rozvoji empatie, porozumění a komunikačních dovedností.
