Author: Jakub Šépka Title: Case study of physiotherapy care for a patient diagnosed with traumatic amputation of the thumb Aims: The aim of this thesis is to provide an overview of general information concerning traumatic thumb amputation and the related medical procedures. This is followed by a case study of a patient after such an injury.Another aim of this work was to evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic approaches used in the case study. Methods: The general part focused on topics such as anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the thumb and all proximal segments relative to the thumb, including the cervical and thoracic spine. It also covers the mechanisms of injury, surgical and postsurgical treatment, and methods of physiotherapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and psychiatry. The continuous clinical placement, during which the case report was carried out, took place from January 6th to January 31st , 2025, at the Oblastní nemocnice Kladno. A total of 8 therapeutic sessions were carried out, each lasting 30 minutes. Results: The first theoretical part of the thesis discusses professional findings on traumatic thumb amputation. Autor: Jakub Šépka Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou úrazová amputace palce ruky Cíle: Cílem mé práce je zpracování základních informací o úrazové amputaci palce a následných lékařských postupech, které jsou s ní spojeny. Dále následuje vypracování samotné kazuistiky na pacienta po tomto úrazu. Dalším úkolem této práce bylo zhodnotit fyzioterapeutické přístupy v této kazuistice z pohledu jejich efektivity. Metody: V obecné části jsem se zabýval tématy, jako je anatomie, kineziologie a biomechanika palce a všech oproti palci proximálních segmentů, a to až po krční a hrudní páteř, dále pak mechanismem úrazu, chirurgickou a následnou léčbou a metodami fyzioterapie, fyzikální terapie, ergoterapie, a také psychiatrie. Souvislá odborná praxe, během které byla kazuistika pacienta zpracována, proběhla v období od 6.1. do 31.1.2025 v zařízení Oblastní nemocnice Kladno. Realizoval jsem celkem 8 terapeutických jednotek, kdy každá z nich měla časovou náplň 30 minut. Výsledky: První teoretická část mé práce se zabývá odbornými poznatky o úrazové amputaci palce. V druhé části mé práce pak vypracovávám kompletní kazuistiku pacienta po tomto úrazu. V závěru hodnotím efekt terapie.
