v Abstract Title of thesis: The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of the patient with a diagnosis of spondylodiscitis of the thoracic spine Author: Veronika Zichová Supervisor: Mgr. Barbora Homonická Pyšková Objective: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis was to acquire theoretical knowledge about the etiology, diagnosis, and clinical presentation of spondylodiscitis, including an overview of examination and therapeutic procedures from the perspective of a physiotherapist. In addition, functional anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the spine. In the special section, I focused on a specific case study of a patient with spondylodiscitis, with the aim of demonstrating the effectiveness of the therapeutic methods used by the physiotherapist. Methods: In the general section, I reviewed theoretical knowledge related to spondylodiscitis, specifically its etiology, predispositions, risk factors, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and therapy with prognosis. iv Abstrakt Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou spondylodiscitida v hrudní páteři Autor: Veronika Zichová Vedoucí práce: Mgr. Barbora Homonická Pyšková Cíl práce: Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce bylo získat teoretické znalosti o etiologii, diagnostice a klinickém obrazu spondylodiscitidy, včetně přehledu vyšetření a terapeutických postupů dle fyzioterapeuta. Ve speciální části jsem se zaměřila na konkrétní kazuistiku pacientky se spondylodiscitidou. Cílem této části bylo dokázat účinnost použitých terapeutických metod fyzioterapeuta. Metody: V obecné části jsem zpracovala teoretické poznatky týkající se spondylodiscitidy, konkrétně etiologii vzniku, predispozice, rizikové faktory, patogenezi, klinický obraz, diagnostiku a terapii s prognózou. Součástí obecné části jsou i vyšetřovací a terapeutické postupy z pohledu fyzioterapeuta a dále funkční anatomie, kineziologie a biomechanika páteře. Ve speciální části jsem se zaměřila na sepsání kazuistiky pacientky se spondylodiscitidou hrudní páteře, kterou jsem vypracovala na souvislých odborných praxích v nemocnici ve Vršovicích (Praha 10), které jsem absolvovala v termínu 6.1. - 31.1. 2025.
