dc.description.abstract	Dizertační práce Srovnánívýsledkůfúzníbiopsieprostatysestandardní metodikouodběrupunkčníbiopsieprostaty A comparison of the outcomes of MRI/Ultrasound fusion guided prostate biopsy and standard systematic biopsy of the prostate Abstract Objectives: The aim of the dissertation is to describe the benefit of prostate biopsy guided by image fusion of multiparametric magnetic resonance of the prostate and transrectal ultrasound over systematic prostate biopsy in a single centre patient cohort. Breakdown of the work: The first, theoretical, part of the work is devoted to the characterization of prostate cancer and a summary of prostate biopsy methodology, which implies the need to focus diagnostics on the detection of clinically significant prostate cancer. One possible way to increase the detection of only those prostate cancers that need active treatment is to change the technique of performing prostate biopsies towards targeting specific suspicious foci found by magnetic resonance imaging of the prostate. In the second, practical part of the work, the analysis of the own group of patients who underwent such a targeted prostate biopsy is described. dc.description.abstract	Dizertační práce Srovnánívýsledkůfúzníbiopsieprostatysestandardní metodikouodběrupunkčníbiopsieprostaty Souhrn Cíl: Cílem disertační práce je popsat přínos biopsie prostaty naváděné pomocí fúze obrazů multiparametrické magnetické rezonance prostaty a transrektální sonografie ve srovnání se systematickou biopsií prostaty na vlastním souboru pacientů. Členění práce: První, teoretická část práce je věnována charakterizaci karcinomu prostaty a shrnutí metodiky biopsie prostaty, ze které vyplývá potřeba zaměřit se při diagnostice na záchyt klinicky významných karcinomů prostaty. Jednou z možných cest zvýšení záchytu pouze těch karcinomů, které potřebují aktivní léčbu, je změna techniky provádění biopsií prostaty směrem k cílení na specifická podezřelá ložiska, nalezená pomocí magnetické rezonance prostaty. Ve druhé, praktické části práce je potom popsána analýza vlastního souboru pacientů, kterým byla takto cílená biopsie prostaty provedena. Metodika: Celkem bylo hodnoceno 591 pacientů, jejichž nábor probíhal mezi lety 2015 a 2018.
