Rudolf hrabě Morzin (1801-1881) podnikatel, politik, filantrop a narušitel šlechtického patriarchátu ve světle archivních dokumentů

Abstract

The topic of this thesis is the person of Rudolf Count Morzin (1801-1881) viewed from the point of archival records, with a focus on individual fields of his activity. One of the important points is the management of his family estate, where he contributed to the modernization of forestry and the construction of infrastructure, among other things, and was also a philanthropist devoting time and resources to helping those in need. His political activities are also worth mentioning, primarily his work in the Bohemian Diet, and he was also active in various associations. We have also preserved documents about his artistic and literary activities, and his role as the father of Aloisie Countess Czernin-Morzin, an emancipated businessperson and his successor, is noteworthy. Anotace: Tématem práce je osoba Rudolfa hraběte Morzina (1801-1881) z hlediska archivních dokumentů, se zaměřením na jednotlivá pole jeho působnosti. Jedním z významných bodů je správa rodového panství, kde se mimo jiné zasloužil o modernizaci lesnictví či stavbu infrastruktury a byl rovněž filantropem věnujícím mnoho času a prostředků na pomoc potřebným. Za zmínku stojí i jeho činnost politická, v první řadě jeho působení v Českém zemském sněmu, dále byl také aktivní v rámci různých spolků. Zachovalo se nám i několik dokladů o jeho umělecké a literární činnosti a pozoruhodná je jeho role jako otce Aloisie hraběnky Czernin-Morzinové, emancipované podnikatelky a jeho pokračovatelky.
