Moderní astrologie a její terapeutický rozměr: Religionistická analýza

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá moderní (nebo také psychologickou) astrologií s ohledem na její užívání jako terapeutické metody. Cílem práce je představit směr moderní astrologie a interpretovat jeho terapeutické aspekty v rámci tzv. terapeutické kultury a metod komplementární a alternativní medicíny, které náleží do duchovní praxe současné alternativní spirituality. Hlavní zdroj dat k vypracování této práce představuje kvalitativní výzkum mezi profesionálními astrology v České republice. Teoretická část práce shrnuje historické kontexty a vlivy vzniku moderní astrologické větve od renesance po meziválečné období. Dále se zabývá postavením a významem moderní astrologie v rámci terapeutické kultury a širším kontextu alternativní spirituality. Výzkumná část shrnuje výsledky primárních dat sebraných metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s osmi psychologicky orientovanými astrology, kteří jsou v době koncipování diplomové práce činnými konzultanty v této oblasti. Na základě diskurzivní analýzy sebraných dat bude představena charakteristika astrologických konzultací a způsoby interpretace horoskopu optikou moderní astrologie, s ohledem na přítomné přesahy do základních koncepcí kosmologie alternativní spirituality jako je energie, holismus nebo pojetí tzv. The diploma thesis deals with modern (known also as psychological) astrology regarding its usage as a therapeutic method. The aim of this thesis is to present the branch of modern astrology and interpret its therapeutic aspects within the procedures of Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) of contemporary alternative spirituality (New Age), using the method of qualitative research among professional astrologers in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part of the work summarizes the historical contexts and influences of the emergence of the modern astrological branch from the Renaissance to the interwar period, analyzes the later division of this branch into different schools, and deals with the position and significance of modern astrology in the broader context of alternative spirituality. The research part summarizes the results of primary research data, collected with the method of semi-structured interviews with eight psychologically oriented astrologers who are active consultants in the field of CAM at the time of formulating this thesis.
