Tradiční arménská medicína a způsoby jejího využití mezi arménskou komunitou v České republice

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem tradiční arménské medicíny a způsoby jejího využití mezi arménskou komunitou žijící v České republice. Cílem práce je analyzovat, jak členové této komunity vnímají, uchovávají a prakticky aplikují tradiční léčebné praktiky, přičemž je kladen důraz na bylinnou medicínu jako jeden z klíčových pilířů. Teoretická část práce poskytuje obecné vymezení pojmů tradiční a bylinné medicíny v širším kulturně-historickém kontextu. Následně je představen historický vývoj bylinné medicíny. Dále se zaměřuje na arménskou tradiční medicínu, její historický vývoj a specifické prvky. Pozornost je věnována také významným osobnostem v této oblasti a klíčovým léčivým rostlinám arménské flóry. Výzkum byl realizován kvalitativní metodou, konkrétně prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s členy arménské komunity v České republice. Výzkum se zaměřil na konkrétní způsoby využívání léčivých rostlin, způsoby přenosu znalostí mezi generacemi a adaptaci tradičních praktik v novém kulturním a sociálním prostředí. Výzkum ukázal, že tradiční arménská medicína zůstává pro členy komunity nejen praktickým nástrojem k péči o zdraví, ale také významným prvkem jejich kulturní identity.

This bachelor's thesis examines the phenomenon of traditional Armenian medicine and its use among the Armenian community living in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how members of this community perceive, preserve, and practically apply traditional healing practices, with an emphasis on herbal medicine as one of its key pillars. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a general definition of the concepts of traditional and herbal medicine within a broader cultural and historical context. It then presents the historical development of herbal medicine. Further, it focuses on Armenian traditional medicine, its historical evolution, and specific elements. Attention is also given to significant figures in this field and the key medicinal plants of Armenian flora. The research was conducted using a qualitative method, specifically through semi- structured interviews with members of the Armenian community in the Czech Republic. The research focused on specific ways medicinal plants are utilized, the methods of knowledge transmission between generations, and the adaptation of traditional practices in a new cultural and social environment.
